2013 - Can a Neptune opposition mean you’re psychically more in tune or out of tune with your partner? If there were an answer it wouldn’t put your mind to any rest, because the nature of Neptune is not to clarify, label and sort - but to dissolve the boundaries of everything which might strive to oppose the natural cycles and order of life. Life being unpredictable and made up of dreams and imagination as much an aspect, as it is a functioning conglomerate of biological motivations.

The Neptune principle can be simple, in essence at least if not in reality; for the unconscious knows it’s heritage (or can derive it’s identity) from that which is whole, the need for individual identity is perhaps secondary as the world is a mere tapestry, we the ‘individual stitches’ appear separate - but looking behind the veil of the cloth (Neptune) and one see’s a singular thread is connecting all of us together. So what? So - relationships can be based on a mutual need or unconscious fulfilment of dreams, both positive and negative. Romantic Love may not exist were it not for the Neptunian longing in us all, of something ‘out of this world’ to imagine this something, is perhaps to live with the hindrance of idealism - for no relationship can be ideal, not so long as it is based on the laws that govern the earth. That which seems too good to be true, might be. Be aware that we are always dreaming and for you the dream is about love and what partnership means. For some of you to find fulfilment in this area you may seek to martyr yourself out to save another, but how can any of us really save another? Where do our identities and longings end and others begin? Who are we without our partners (the props of our identity?)

These questions will keep you endlessly entertained - for while Neptune in principle is simple - in reality, it is not. For work, opportunities are still fully flourishing until the middle of the year when you can honestly say that life has not been all bad! The broadening of your professional horizon can leave you changed and ready to embark on new and exciting territories. If anything can stand in your way, it’s a need for perfection in relationship or a doubt about your mental ability. With regards to your mental ability dear Virgo - non should doubt as much as you, yet you will usually be the first to underestimate your own gifts; a true sign of an intelligent being!! Still, don’t let it stand in the way, by overly procrastinating or being overly cautious or suspicious.
